Did a tour in the "dirty south" and loved it. Found the people to be colorful and the city to be full of history. The pace is slow and the people are as friendly as you are willing to be. The food is in a class of its own. MMMM Fried green tomatoes a must have at a lil joint called ALFRED's on Beal Street. Try going there on the night that everyone is dressed like Elvis. BB King has a charming lil place where you can still hear live blues music & jazz. On New Year's eve you could get tickets for dinner and enjoy listening to that legend play.
St. Judes hospital is there. No Tennessee isn't the fastest and fanciest place in the world but it has a way of getting under your skin. I for one would love to go back for another tour.

We came to Tennessee from Portland. Its been 3 months since the move. I can tell u one thing about ppl here. They are very laid back. They are not as active and brisk as in any other state i have seen. Some are friendly and some are not. They r not active but very slow in moving and working. Some are not very smart.
Tennessee is a wonderful city. Th eone thing i like abt ppl here is that they try to keep it as neat as possible. They try to conserve energy and save the environment at least in my county, which is sweet.

I think pople from Tennessee are proud of it. They're very southern and proud of it. They like the heat and despise the cold (anything cooler than 35 degree Celsius.) They generally have good moral values but can be loud and obnoxious on occasion.
