I simply made a bad/wrong career choice >10 years ago (but stuck with it until now.) I do not want to practice medicine any longer, but have done this (the training part) for so long that I don't have any idea what to do. I trained as a radiologist and completed residency 2 years ago.

definite, and at the same time as the human beings on right here seem concentrated on "health care professional" as a occupation, i imagine they have forgotten (or do not comprehend) that MD's have 4 years of school, 4 years of medical college, 3-4 of a residency, and probable yet another year or 2 of a fellowship of their truly good section. in spite of the actual incontrovertible truth that the Bachelors classes for PA's are straight away transforming into Masters classes, some nevertheless exist, and however in case you want to finish a Masters application, you're nevertheless searching at 5 or 6 years rather of a minimum of 8 or 9. flow for the PA application!!! "???" Do you even comprehend what a health care professional Assistant is? I heavily doubt it!!! i don't think of i have ever heard a PA or an NP called "lowly".

Work for an insurance co reviewing claims. You can also find a good job with pharmaceutical/medical device companies.

You can also become very wealthy coming up with a pseudo-medical religion like Deepak Chopra did or become a writer like Michael Crichton.

If you are looking from fulfillment, however, consider volunteering in a poor country where your medical skills will be highly sought after.
