No I love math! I majored in it in college, that's how much I love it!

No, I love math. And since I also happen to be really good at it, I became a mechanical engineer. I'm now doing a part time masters in mechanical engineering, which means I've had to take even more math in the form of structural analysis, and math methods for engineering and physics. I love calculus and trigonometry, and I love using them to solve problems both at work and recreationally.

But, hey, if you don't like math, that's okay, too. Just try to do well enough so you don't fail out of school, and then find a career that doesn't involve any math at all, like becoming a poet or a scuba diving instructor.

I don't hate it but I don't love it either. It's a necessity whether you are in school, college or professional world (in general). If you like math and like doing something with it, good for you, if not thats also ok, you can survive without knowing calculus.

If you're wary about using math or don't understand it, just take it one step at a time, one problem at a time, one concept at a time.

Yes, I hate math. So guess what I ended up doing at my job?
Paying the bills and keeping spreadsheets on everything!
If you want to avoid jobs that involve math, don't say you hate math. If you do, you will get it "right between the eyes."

Yes. Unfortuantely, you will need it in life. One math subject that I have always found a waste of time is Algebra. In my entire life, I have never needed it for anything and it caused me such aggrivation when I was in school a billion years ago. Funny, I have had successful jobs in banking and loans, both requiring math. But neither used Algebra.

Math is one of the most practical subjects they teach in school as opposed to history. History has no real way to support the future. It's just a bunch of public opinion and pride.
