At his core bush is an arrogant bully and a coward who has never had to face up to the consequnces of his actions. Changing course in Iraq would be an admission of failure as he has failed at everything he's ever tried without his father's backing. He has been shieled from all of his failures.
Why do you think that incompetant rumsfeld still has a job? for bush to fire him would mean that bush was wrong and his critics correct and he can't even concieve of such a thing.
Oh yea if you're voting Dem because you think they will stop the occupation you're wrong. Once an empire has a country they never let it go unless they are made to. And the Dems have been part and parcel of the empire/war party for 60 years.
Cheers

For those in the white house , this is a business. After all it has been one lie after the other. The only people gaining from this war are the CEO of Halliburton and other companies connected with the power structures in Washington.

how many more iraqi people would have died with saddam still there? there are many reasons people can think of to not be in iraq, but let's look at why we would. do people really think that Bush & others would put our american soldiers at risk for nothing? to be bullies? if so, why would someone like that win the presidency - twice?? think about it.
