I have no car, no transportation (except for my boyfriend..but he's unreliable), and I'm only on campus for 2 days out of the week.
I am EXTREMELY shy... I think it's social anxiety, but I'm not possitive. I only talk to people when there's a reason. I can't just start up a conversation...
There's nothing I'm really interested in that I know of, which I know sounds really weird... I mean, I like math, but I'm not competitive at all. I'm not into any sports... I'm going to a college campus that is not the main campus, so it only has two buildings, and they don't have the normal activities a main campus would have...
There isn't anything within walking distance to go to...
I've talked to a few people in my classes, but I don't think they're my type of friend... Although, I don't know anymore what my type is cause I haven't had a friend other than my boyfriend for like two years... No joke.
I feel pathetic..and I need to fix it. I need friends... I need to know how

You need to start talking more with classmates. Get to know them. Do not be afraid to let them know you are about to go nuts from boredom(in a jokingly way). If you want friends you have to learn to be more social. Good Luck. LL.

You don't have to be competitive to have friends, just be friendly. A simple smile and a very genuine hello to the people you already know well do. If you can do that these people will start the conversation, and when they do don't ignore, be attentive and sometimes just by giving them a smile while you talk to them it makes a whole lot deference.

Maybe you could join a club or talk to someone who is just hanging out that you think looks interesting. If you are too shy to talk to them, just sit by someone and hopefully they will be outgoing enough to say hi. You could post an ad on a site like craigslist, that way you can maybe meet someone to hang out with outside of school
