I think that is such a pretty name. When I had my son the woman next to me in my recovery room had a daughter and named her Mia Rayne. I really like the name Mia. Good choice and God bless with baby.

Like Mia Farrow? Mia in Italian means my or mine. I like the idea of a child having an unusual name. John and Mary are very average people, Mia stands out.

Absolutely LOVE it! It means 'mine' in spanish. I wanted to name my last daughter Mia. But her dad wouldn't have it. So, I looked up other names to see where it was used as a nickname. And found Michaela. So, I named her michaela with the intention of calling her Mia. But, it never panned out that way. She is called CayCay lol. But, Mia is a BEAUTIFUL name!! :)

I like that name. It is very cute. Did you happen to watch the Disney movie, "The Princess Diaries"? The lead character, Anne Hathaway, was named Mia in the movie. Well, that was her nickname. Her full name was Amelia. Amelia is also a very nice and Strong name.
