I shower daily, but I wash my hair every other day. I rinse it on the days in between. If I shampoo every day my hair gets really dry and frizzy.
My stylist told me that you should really only use shampoo every three days unless your hair is extremely oily. Rinse it on the off days and condition it if needed, but don't shampoo daily.

I find that washing my hair daily can dry it out excessively. If I wash it daily I need to make sure to use a moisture-replenishing conditioner. If I go more than two days between, though, it begins to look greasy. So I aim for every other day.

I shower daily but I was my hair every other day.I only do that because my hair is so thick it wouldnt be healthy for me to wash it every single day.

Someone told me to only wash my hair 3 times a week all other times to just rinse it well. I still wash it though every day.

If you wash your hair daily, you will probably get some diseases like fungi; unless that you use a hairdryer everytime you wash it.
A good hint: wash in a day yes, other not, a day yes, other not...

washing of hair matter to the environment where you live. if it's polluted then you probably have to shampoo it on a daily basis.

Only if you wanna destroy your hear. Your should wash it at least every other day. You can check with dermatologist to see that I A RIGHT.
