Well, I live in West Michigan in a small town north of Gand Rapids and is is pretty uneventful, except for small parades and a small fall fest. The schools are great, FOOTBALL! It is beautiful in the country, but if You want a good job You will have to travel aprox 25-30 miles to the nearest large cities. People aren't as friendly, but most are harmless. Farm town. Nice on the rivers!!! Beautiful homes. ave. 2 bedroom apt. $450.00 or 3 bed. home would be aprox.$ 500.00-$600.00 per month! Can find cheap ones sometimes but u get what u pay for. Beautiful country and the great lakes are awesome. Ludington Mi. Is a great place to camp right on the beach. (75mi. form me) There are many lakes here, good fishin' huntin' and trail blazin' lol! Cities near by are full of things to spend our money on...everything You want. Casinos 75 t o100 miles away,.....and snow!!!! It is beautiful!!!! and fun! Now YOu can experience a whole new winter wonderland! Cheap skiing, snowmobiling, sledding, hiking, snow-ball fights, whitewashes, and most of all, SNOWMEN!!!!! Glad to offer You some advice! Jen!!! In Michigan.

Depends how big of a city you would like to live in. Also, what about climate? Personally, one of my favourite cities in San Francisco. Followed by Seattle then San Diego. I've never been in NYC so I can't vouch for there. The places father west have less humidity so that's why I like it. You might do good in Shreveport. It's big enough to not be really small, but small enough not to be overwhelmingly big, especially if you are new to a big city, it can be intimidating. :)

Depends on job opportunity? Why don't you try Tupelo or Columbus for starters. They are both pretty clean cities. Don't know what the job situation is in either, but Columbus has an air base with some cute guys if that is an interest.

i might do it. you will make acquaintances different than the lady you met and it quite is a popular city. We moved to a small city 15 years in the past from Denver and that i've got hated it ever through fact. through fact you're single and able to do it, I say decide for it!
