Of course, if they are of legal age. They also should be able to handle themselves without over-indulging.

Of course! You don't give up your rights to be a counselor! Does it "look good?" Perhaps not, but that doesn't mean that they don't have the right.

Also, since they know the facts, they should be especially on guard so they don't cause others to fall or make a bad example. But, they SHOULD have the right to drink, after all, they are helping others, not themselves.

Unless you are recovering yourself, that might not be a good idea, but I know many in recovery that go to bars, have a soda and just hang out. Go to a bar, just don't come to work drunk from the night before and you should be okay ;)

It depends entirely on the contract you sign when you're hired. Most would probably avoid going to bars in the area where they work, but they're usually not strictly prohibited.
