I really liked the Godfather movies but I hated Diane Keaton as the wife. I half expected to see Woody Allen come around the corner. I thought Catherine Ross(from the original Stepford Wives) would have been better. Diane Keaton should just stick to comedy. So who else agrees?

I laughed when I read your comment about Woody Allen. LOL I like her as an actress but I too wondered about the casting here. She really doesn't seem to fit with the Michael Corleone character. Now the Italian girl he met and married when he was hiding out in his father's old village - she was perfect for him!

Actually, the Godfather movies are about the only thing I can stand her in. She didn't start doing the comedy thing until after GF II. I personally can't stand her. I think she's pretentious and a horrible over-acter. I actually intentionally avoid any movie she is in, including all of the Woody Allen stuff (another over-rated celebrity, but I'll save that for another question)

I love diane keaton she is one of my favorite actresses but I think she did a pretty good job in the movies...I do prefer her in comdey though but I don't thin she was awful in the godfather movies

She is cool. I can understand hating Woody Allen he gets to my nerves n his weird films, but Diane Keaton? naw.
