I did. I asked a question about how to record programs on a DVR. Nobody answered me. It wasn't in the instruction book. The instruction book must have been originally in Japanese. It included the following: "Warning: never press the useless function." It turned out to be OK. Mashing buttons on the remote brought up enough instructions that I am now able to record programs. Good thing I did not press the useless function, because World War III might have started. Oh wait, it already did start. OK - WHO PUSHED THE USELESS FUNCTION?????
