Playing games will not harm or wear out your computer....

If you are using that computer for some kind of server or have something going on in the background then yes, it will slow down while you are playing the game.. but once you stop playing again, all that power will be back.

Yes very much so. But it depends on the game and your processor and your amount of RAM. If you are just playing a windows card game then you will be ok but if you are playing some large multi-level RPG then your gonna be in for a slow day. Again though it depends on the processor and the RAM you have. Most desktops will be good to go but a laptop, especially older ones, arent made to support that kind of ""abuse.

No, I play games all the time. Thatis when I am not surfing. If your pc should slow down go to control panel and remove games you don't play too often. Good Luck.

Yes playing games will absolutely affect your processing speed of your computer, while your playing then, just press ctrl+alt+esc and go to perfomance to see whats running and whats eating at your RAM and Processor!

If you have no other applications running, it will not affect your cache. The processing speed is constant - what most people think of as its speed is actually the cache and the larger that is (lots of applications running simultaneously), the "slower" each application will run (your processor switching back and forth between the applications to complete them).
