Does anyone know anything about buying and operating outdoor billboards?

I can't seem to find anything on the internet on how to get started.

You can find old boards that are individually owned and ask the owner if they would sell them. Most of these are on private land. Privately owned boards usually don't have any kind of business name on the apron such as "Obie", "Lamar", "or Sun". Once you have one and have done any and all upgrades you feel it needs, go through your county for the licensing. Once you get your license, you can start selling advertisement space. Good luck.
