If you can STILL get them, and being a BUCKEYE fan myself, I'd spend my vacation wad of $500/pair! But that is probably not even close to what you'd have to pay to "tear" them away from someone...
...when it comes down to it, what can you afford, what would the experience be worth to you, and who are you taking along with you? Thos factors would make ALL the difference to me my friend! (unless you're a wolverine fan--boo! Poop on you, Blue!--LOL!)
I hope you get to go though! Oh yeah, keep your eyes open on ebay or in the newspapers like The Trader...you never know who has them and want to sell them! JUST BE SURE THEY ARE GOOD SEATS! if that's important to you!--good luck...

Go to Columbus dressed in red and try to buy two. They will be insanely expensive but if you buy them close to the stadium they will be cheaper because the cops are around and they're tougher to scalp. Then rip off the red colors and show your true blue because U of M dominates the Buckeyes and goes to the national championship game

I am an ABSOLUTE HUGE BUCKEYE FAN. I go to a couple of games a year. I have never paid more than face value. For the Michigan game, I might pay double, but that's it. It just isn't worth it to me. I think it's a matter of principle. I have sold my OSU tickets a couple of times also, face value.

I took my husband, a big Ohio State fan who later moved to Michigan, to a Ohio/Michigan game for his 30th birthday. We live in Florida so I purchased the tickets from a ticket broker for 150.00 each. We flew up for the game.
Come game time as we approached the stadium people were selling tickets for 10.00 each.
Our 150.00ea. tickets were so high I got a nosebleed.

Why go to the game? Watch it on TV at home. It's cheaper and the lines to the bathroom are shorter.

The best seat is from the couch. Why overpay when you can watch it closer from TV.
