That answer being, "I'm sorry I don't understand the question".

There must be a genuine reason, I just can't work out what it is.

No, can not say that I even have. did no longer all of us try this with a question some weeks returned? infantile, yet very humorous! ;o) Potatoes! and finally, who does 'Captain' above think of he's? The Y!A police? needs a feeling of humour! ;o)

What's not right is that you're lying awake at night worrying about it like he's got some psychological dysfunction that needs treatment.

Perhaps he's trying to be funny.
Perhaps you should lighten up a bit.

He should not feel sorry for not understanding the question rather he should not answer the question, he should attempt the questions he can solve, so that he may also be benefited by knowledge.

The funny answer is obviously 'I'm sorry I don't understand the question', but the correct answer is that they are just building up their points.

Relax, let it go.

Plus I notice that they are a new member, and will probably get bored soon. Let's hope so anyway.

Perhaps he has mental problems, or perhaps he has a very low IQ, possibly a Traffic Warden or American (nearly said Muslim but didn't fancy being bombed) but has learned how to cut and paste "I'm sorry I don't understand the question". from an earlier reply

because that person just wants to get the 2 little yahoo points. and if you don't pick a best answer for your question, it will go up for voting and that person will go back and vote and get 10 stupid yahoo points.
