traditional witchboards are made by hand... their are many other scribing tools as effective as a witchboard. Oujii is only a regional tool. It was best made out of yew wood. and the stand was most often ivory or stones. some used glass. But not as effective and mineralstones.
Milton Bradly sell the cardboard one with a plastic stand... Doesn't work... No aura, it had to be made from something living. There are ways to charge the cardbaord ones. But thats not to allow people to call spirits. Doing so doesn't make it a witchboard, it becomes and spiritboard. Their is a difference.
A witchboard, or Ouja, was used to trap the souls into the board. It is still called a soul-trap, for that reason. But, a spiritboard, is used as a gateway for the spirits to speak to the living. But, it doesn't let the living speak to the souls. More, details are not allowed for me to say. But, yeah even walmart has the milton bradly version. I even saw it at target. But mine, was passed down from my moms-side of the family. True boards are usually passed down. Even the handmade ones are usually made by an elder and gifted to an apprentice.

You can find the marketable place ones at any toy store. If you are looking for a spirit board, then I would suggest a metaphysical shop.
