Of course, me being retarded yesterday, chasing after my sister, hurt myself and now I got a question... She had tried to shut the bedroom door, sorta as a diversion so that she could get away, but, in the process, my arm ran into the door, HARD... Now, it isn't bruised, but is just a little bit swollen... it is about three inches from my elbow, on the ulna... is it even possible to have broken it, and it just hurt like a bruise? Or is it indeed, just a bruise??? I will be getting xrays tomorrow, but I want to know what to expect... thanks...

sounds like you may have a hairline fracture...which won't be too bad to heal...they may just put you in an air cast for a few weeks. good luck...hopefully the x ray will just show a bone bruise...even better!

Um... ya it's possible, but unlikely. Unless you did a stress fracture.. in that case drink more milk! You could have also had your arm at just the right angle. Then they would probably cast it for a few weeks. That's not that bad unless it's the arm you write with then it's kinda hard to deal with. I have broken both arms at different times and I survived through both.

Why worry about speculation when you will get the answer tomorrow but it could be a compacted arm,a hairline fracture,bruised bone,torn muscle and or tendon....the list goes on.Wait until tomorrow and then curse yourself for chasing your poor defenseless sister.Bully!

I hope you put ice on it and only an x-ray will tell if it is a break. It can be a hairline fracture and only the x-ray can show that. It could also just be trauma and need ice snd advil and rest. Good luck. Little sisters are dangerous! I am one.

Depending on possition you had your arm,but to be honest I don't think you broke it,you may have just squished it to the point it feels broke,I did that a couple years back with my brother and I thought I broke my leg and my hip and my arm.....Hehehehe Gotta laugh it was funny the way I didit too.

If it's broken it will hurt like h*ll and it will be really swollen. However, better to be safe and get it x-rayed.

honestly, the question is vauge, what is your age, height, weight and health?
Are you low on calcium? etc....could there be a hair line fracture, yea....can you move you hand/arm with a hair line fracture, yes.
if the pain and swelling continues, see your doc.
