My daugter in law was fired from her job after a coworker threatened to beat her up but the girl was not fired

Can she sue for wrongful termination? New York is the state where she resides

File a police report for the threat. Also get a restraining order. You can sue for wrongful termination also sue the co-worker for lost wages.

I would consult a lawyer and also sue the girl who threatened her for lost wages.

That doesn't sound right. Did she speak to her superior about what happened or did the other girl? If anyone witnessed it, she file a complain with the police.
