Round it.
You know for example that 1/3=.3333333... So you can change -6.3 to -6 1/3. Or here is is another way. Simply make it -6.3. Don't change it.
If it was 6.666666, you could round up the number to 6.67.
This all depends how much the teacher wants the number to go. If to the hundreds, then 6.67. If to the tens, then 6.7. For many of these annoying repeating decimal numbers, the number can be simplified to something/9.
If it is .11111, then it is 1/9.
If it is .22222, then it is 2/9.
If it is .33333, then it is 3/9 or 1/3.
If it is .44444, then it is 4/9.
If it is .55555, then it is 5/9.
If it is so-on, blah blah.
Do you get it yet?
To change a repeating number to a fraction, simply change put the number over 9 and you'll get the fraction which is equivalent to it.

The standard way is to first write an equation that says x = the repeating decimal. Then multiply both sides of that equation by 10 (or whatever you have to in order to get to where the repeating part starts). You then subtract the two equations, and solve.
In this problem, you'd have:
10x = 63.333333333...
- x = - 6.3333333333...
--------------------------
9x = 57
x = 57/9 or 6 and 3/9 or 6 and 2/3

It can be useful to remember that any single number repeating is that number of 9ths:
.111111111... = 1/9
.222222222... = 2.9
.333333333... = 3.9, which reduces to 1/3
.444444444... = 4/9
etc.

It is also true that if two digits repeat, the fraction is that number of 99ths. For instance .25252525... is 25/99. Similarly if three numbers repeat, you have that many 999ths, and so forth.

Put the 3 over 9 and reduce, getting 1/3. Your answer would be -6 1/3. If you don't want a mized number, multiply 6 by the denominator, 3, and add the numerator, 1. You're answer is -19/3.

6.333333333 is 6 plus .333333333 (repeating)

So let's multiply .3333 x 100 and we get 33.33333333333 repeating

so lets take 100 x = 33.3333333333333333
subtract 1 x = 0.333333333333333

and we get 99 x = 33

devide by 99 and we get

99/99 x = 1 x = 33/99 and 33/99 reduces to 1/3

so 6.333333333333333 = 6 and 1/3
