what i would do is talk to the babys doc and tell them whats going on.... he might be able to tell you a different kind that WIC will give you or let you know if the walmart brand is A-OK. but give it a chance for WIC i know what its like to be on that and you need all the help you can get and if you can get them to pay.... let them pay

My daughter is 4 months, The only formula she will drink without spitting up is Enfamil Lipil...I also have wic, But only get 24 cans a month. She drinks alot!!!! I cashed her check in on the 5th of this month. She was out a couple of days ago. I can't cash the other until the 5th of Nov. I tried her on parents choice because it was alot cheaper then the Enfamil. She cried for hours because her little tummy was used to the other brand. I know it is alot of money for the formula that your little girl needs. I would just stick with it. And Im sorry that Wic does not cover it. It should....

You need to get the form filled out from your Daughters Pediatrician for special formula. WIC cannot legally deny your choice of formula if it is prescribed by her healthcare professional. But you might also talk to her Dr and see if theres another type that is comparible. I only know this because my I went through a huge problem with my son and the "contract" formula that wic approves. He had a very bad problem with reflux and fianally after getting the prescition and a letter form the Dr I was allowed to change him to Isomil by similac. If you are in between appointments for WIC ask your Dr for some samples of the formula till your next appointment.

I'm not sure about the Parent's Choice brand, but Nestle Good Start is just about the same as the Gentle Ease. It is a little cheaper then the Gentle Ease also. When I signed up with www.verybestbaby.com(Nestle Good Start) they gave me 3 or 4 $11.00 coupons just for signing up with them.

WIC will give you similac products like the organic, lactose free or soy. The generics are good but the scooper is larger so you use about the same amount from brand to generic.

Talk with the doctor.....if it is the only formula that is safe for your baby he should be able to help you with WIC. If the doctor has it down as a specialized diet, then maybe WIC will work with you.

Every baby is different - so I'd suggest buying a small container of it and trying it for a couple days and see how your baby reacts.
It also may be cheaper to go to Sam's or Costco .. we have BJ's wholesale here too.. my sister loved BJ's brand formula for her daughter.. she just had to add an extra ounce of water otherwise her daughter would get constipated.

All baby formula has to be passed by the FDA.All formula must meet a certain criteria. If you read the lables, all formula has the same amount of fat, colories and vitamin in them.If you are gonna buy her formula just make sure it has iron in it.

I'm all about generic, so I asked my doc when my kids were babies. He said some generics were just as good, even made in the same place. Parent's Choice from Walmart was one of those brands. So give it a try!
Good luck!

Do you have access to a health nurse or clinic sister (sorry not sure what you call them over there) A professional you can go to to talk about baby problems and get baby weighed and measured.
If you have access to someone like that they should be able to help you find a cheaper formular that is similar to what you use now.
