When my sister had a pet shop we worked with the Humane Society to help find Dogs and Cats homes. Once we had two white kittens, to give away, real cute. But, no one wanted them. :-(
We dyed one Red and the other Blue with food coloring and sold them for $10 each in about 2 hours, but, for the $10, we gave some food and toys etc, so, actually we gave them away. But, we got them a home!!! :-D I not think paint will work.

a better idea would be to dip only 1/2 in pink paint, then the other half in red paint, it would be much prettier that way.
try the "zebra" cat, paint black and white stripes on it.
or the "skunk" cat, white stripe down the back, rest black paint.
you keep brainstorming for ideas, go down to the paint store and get some paints and brushes, and i will meet you back at the house with the SPCA!
P.S, if we want you to have brown hair on your bald head, can we dip your head in brown paint ?

That'll work, might be sticky.
Start with a white cat and dip it in water with red food coloring . It won't hurt the cat and looks real good. Fluff dry with hair dryer

that would fall under the heading Cruelty to animals
you would kill the kitty as the paint would cover its hair and the kitty would try and get rid of it by "washing" itself - and would ingest the paint
DO NOT DO IT - not only is it illegal - it is cruel

no tree hugger animal activist here but I love cats and dogs and birds and they don't want toxic paint on their coats/feathers. Pretend you're a p*ssy and dye your hair pink.

NO! You can't dip it in paint unless you want to kill it. But you could DYE it's fur.
