I had severe black mold in my condomium. According to the HomeOwner Association's contract, they are responsible for the copper pipe problems. Well, it has been about 3 months, since I lived there, and they are still fixing. Does the HomeOwner Association responsible for reimbursing me for not being able to live in my place, I still have to pay the monthly mortgage, homeowner's association fee, electric bill, telephone bill and so on. What are my rights?

Check with the association insurance company. They may be willing to put you up in a place for a bit. If your have an insurance policy for your condo you might be able to file a claim for loss of use. Your insurance company would then put you up in a place and if they thought they could get money from the association they would subrogate...which means they would try and get reimbursed. Good Luck!

You should have bought homeowner's insurance when you bought the condo...that policy should cover temporary housing expenses.

Your condo insurance policy that you bought when you moved in should provide coverage for temporary housing provided you spent the few dollars to get that coverage. If you didn't buy that coverage, then you may be outta luck on this one.
