Whenever I try to drink any sort of alchohol my body just rejects it and I throw up, I mean before I can even finish one drink I just get heavily nauseated. Why might this be so?

You obviously should not drink alcohol! Why is that a problem for you? - lots of people don't drink for one reason or another. The fact that it started with your second attempt to drink is strongly suggestive of allergy - the first time sensitized you so you started reacting the second time. Just don't drink, and you'll be fine. Your body is rejecting something that is poison to it - don't keep trying to drink or you could end up unable to breathe from the allergy. This is not trivial, and it's not "all in your head."

You might be allergic to alcohol. You can find out for sure if you visit an allergist.
Just so you know, some drinks are a lot harder on peoples' stomachs than others. For example, I can't drink Smirnoff Ice because it gives me horrible stomach cramps. I love Margaritas, on the other hand. I don't know what kinds of drinks you've tried, but you might be able to handle some of them.

I owned several bars in my lifetime never drank at any of them, couldn't handle the stuff, gave me migraines, like Rhonda said that was good thing! Then one day, I could drink the headaches didn't come, they say the heart medicine "Inderol" got rid of the migraines. Now I can drink like a fish and the headache, "comes from the empty wallet" I wonder if they got a pill, that fills wallets?

Sulfa allergy? Many alcoholic drinks contain it. If it's sulfa allergy, there would be some prescription medication you'd want to avoid. Also, what is intended by one drink? Are we talking about a normal glass of beer, or a keg? Having "one drink" is subjective as far as I'm concerned.

Just consider yourself lucky. Your body is detecting alcohol as an allergen - something bad for you. You can't change that; and you'll save a fortune on drink over your lifetime!

That is a blessing. Listen to your body - it does not want alcohol. It will save you a lot of heartache if you heed your body's warning.
Best wishes.

dude, its all mental, alot of my friends throw up when i make the drink tequilla, and everyone has that one alcoholic drink that makes them throw up, i personally dont but before i play a game i throw up because im nervous about throwing up, not because im nervous about the game, try drinking a beer by yourself with no one around and dont think about throwinng up, your problem isnt alcohol making you throw up, its that you think alcohol makes you throw up and you get nervous
