My God, you're panicking now??
I hate to think what you're gonna be like in four months time.
Just relax, and enjoy your time off work.

I just looked at a due date calculator and this is what I came up with.
LMP- June 4th
Estimated conception: June 18th
Estimated Due date: March 11th 2007
Estimated fetal age: 20 weeks 2 days.
This is the date that came up by your LMP, if your dates change after the routine ultrasound then that's normal mine did to but as its only a few days then that's nothing to worry about. I was due the 28th of Feb now the 3rd March. as its in a few days its nothing to worry about because it is only an estimated date, your baby will come when ready not on the dates the doctor gives you. It is calculated by when you (should) ovulate as every women is different it happens different days, not necessarily on the 14th day after the first day of your last period, when they measure the baby by ultrasound its also an approximate as every baby grows at a different rate even in the uterus. The doctors need the estimated date so your baby doesn't go 2 weeks over as it can be dangerous because the placenta stops producing nutrients for the baby.
I wish you all the best Enjoy your pregnancy.

No problem...it is very difficult, if not impossible, to tell the exact day of birth. Most doctors will give an approximate date within a 2 week plus or minus range. So if you were originally told March 9, then in reality you could have the baby anytime from the first of March to about March 20.

Your due date is calculated 40wks after the first day of your last period, and is called your estimated date of delivery (EDD) You may have conceived anything up to a 14 days before this date, as you can't pinpoint the exact date of conception. When you have your 12wk dating scan, they will measure the crown rump Length (CRL) of your foetus to achieve the best possible gestational age. It is then from this that they will work out another EDD by using the more accurate information from the scan. This can be anything of 7-14 days out either way. So don't panic about a few days because these babies never come when they're supposed to. But I'd say your EDD would be the one from your scan because it is a lot more accurate. Good luck!

Congrats first. The change of the date is usually due to the size of the fetus/baby. It will more than likely change again before the 40 weeks is up. I believe when I was pregnant with my son 10 years ago the due date changed 4 times and he still came two weeks before due date.
The ONLY sure fire way to know the exact date of conception is having had intercourse ONE time between periods. Then you'd know.
Good luck and God Bless.

My last period was on the sam e day as you, but my due date is on 17 March. That is because my ovulation must have been late! I actually hope that the baby will come as early as the 9th of March, as I cannot wait to see him/her and be sure that the delivery was OK. Good luck to you!

Hun I am 36 weeks along and I just got a new date two weeks ago. I have had the doctor tell me 19th 25th and the 27th. It really don't matter what damn date they give you it is just an approximation. remember your baby could come two weeks before and two weeks after the date they give to you and it is normal. Don't worry they will give you another one in no time. when people ask me how much longer and trust when you get near the end that is all they ask I just say some time in November lol good luck to you

hiya hunni I'm due the same time as u, 17th march, i have now had 3 different dates
17th, 24th, now round about the 14th, ive had a dating scan and gender scan and next week I'm having another scan
each time scanned the size doesnt match the date. and when my uterus was measured it should have been 16/17 but was 18/20!!!
i got really upset and they have told me now he may just be a bit bigger than he should be for his dates and have left my due date 17 march.
coz at the end of the day baby will come when baby is ready.
i think maybe your baby is the same as mine and just slightly bigger for its dates.
good luck

The doctor makes a general guess as to the date of conception. My due date changed 3 times--it kept getting earlier, I think due to the baby's size. I thought it was odd too, but that's the way it is.My son still came 2 weeks early, so it pays to have that suitcase packed way ahead of time (which I did not!) Good luck!

You get your due date by adding 9 months and 1 week to your last period date. Of course, an ultrasound will be more precise. It will measure your pregnancy accurately in weeks gestation. Of course, you could always deliver a few weeks early, or a few weeks later that your actual due date.

Did you get the new date from a scan result? They are more accurate then guessing from your last period. My last was june 3rd, and my due date is march 13th... Strange, but only a few days difference so don't worry about it. good luck!
