I would have to go with Messi. I know that they are both talented so I am making my choice based on more than just football ability...
Not only does the Messi have astounding talent but he is also humble. You see with Messi it is all about the game, the kid is so focused on football!!! C Ronaldo is a little to caught up in the celerity life and tends to be a bit of a performer (as in actor) on the field. I do not like the way C Ronaldo is so flashy and arrogant.
One of my favourite things about Messi is that he is team player who knows when to pass the ball. C Ronlaldo on the other hand tends to be a bit greedy with the ball because he wants all the glory (even though I have to admit that he is improving and becoming more of a team player).
C Ronaldo is a DIVA and Messi is a LEGEND.

Messi is a better player C.ronaldo is not as good doesnt have the skills that messi has
Hopefully there wont be another hand of god insident like with Maradona tho I do think MESSI is the Next Argentine LEGEND

They are actually slightly different players. They can be used together in a team. C. Ronaldo brings an incredible pace to the game a long with finesse. He is kind of like a Ryan Giggs with better ball control perhaps and a bullet of a shot. But he probably can be effective as a right wing man onattacking team. Lionel Messi on the other hand has the skills of players like; Ronaldinhop, Maradona, Alex de Souza, George Hagi...These players with incredible finesse, ball control and quick thinking ability make others around them better. They do not have incredble pace, and they do not like one n one situations and tackles but they feed the players around them.

C. Ronaldo is better but kinda full of himself. I think that the best way to tell (although impossible) would be for them to switch places. I think C. Ronaldo would be kind of competing with Ronaldinho for the spotlight on Barca while Messi would be able to adapt to the English game with his smart runs and sweet passes. C. Ronaldo may be more of an impact player for his team and better than Messi right now...but he also has like 2 years on him. When Messi is 21, lets see how he does...

Doesnt try and show off in any way, just goes about his business. There are way too many players nowadays who try to be all fancy, only to accomplish nothing. Also, seems very mature for his age.
Think Ronaldo is somewhat overrated although still a good player. Gotta have nerves to attack your own teammate too.

I think C.Ron is a better player bcuz i like the way he dribbles which is really fast and his ability 2 run tirelessly. he can also has a fierce shot i dont like messi bcuz i hate barca but still he is not better than C.ron in many ways. I am betting my money on C.ron 2 win the best young player of the year award this year an better if he can win the european player of the year award
