Ok... this guy politely introduced himself yesterday at a party i was at. he asked me my name, he told me his, and he said nice to meet you. does that mean he likes me? he came up jsut to say hi and introduce himself. what does this mean? please be honest... if it means he doesn't, admit it. I won't be upset- i promise.

I have the same thing happen 2 me. But I was at a tea-house instead. Yes! he properly want to go out with u.
Did u gave him your number?!
If so call him and talk about movies,game, and other fun stuff. But remember be honest with him.
If he is too shy 2 talk meet him in person so you can hag out with him!!!

One thing about us women..we see too deep about things that arent really that serious! There could be 2 reasons why he did that...1.becasue he thought that u were cute and wanted you to notice him..that way u would take over and begin more convo!!(guys are weird like that) 2. He was just SAYING HI AND INTRODUCING HIMSELF TO U!!!

Matters he could like you because he think your hot or you never know his friend could dare him to do it. What is going on in a boy's mind when he walks up to girl Idon't know. But he probably does. But there are those boys who are just being polite they say things like "oh hi my name blah blah" Did you get into a deep conversation did you get his number. If yes then of course he like you. If all he did was say hi don't get your hope to far up

But a simple hello doesn't mean that he likes you, it sounds more like he wants to be friends and get to know you.
Please, don't be like this girl I knew two years ago...she thought that every boy who gave her even the slightest bit of attention or acknowledged the fact that she existed was in love with her.
Confidence is never bad. Lying to yourself and making a big deal out of nothing can be bad.
Get to know him more, be his friend. You've got nothing to lose.

well if he made it a point to come up to you and say hi, at the least he probably finds you attractive and yes he probably likes you. i dont know why a guy would make a point to go up to you just to say hi if he didn't like you.
