Hasselback is out for at least 3 weeks, and Leftwich is a little hurt, and didn't do ANYTHING against Houston yesterday. Thoughts on this? Kitna is not available. Huard and Carr are available, but I am not sure I like their upcoming match-ups. What SHALL I do???

Carr has played some tough teams, but he is one of the highest-rated QBs in the league this season. He also plays Tennessee, NYG, and Jacksonville in the next three weeks. Huard will face Seattle, St. Louis, and Miami. The benefit to Carr is that the Texans are usually playing from behind, which will mean he passes a lot and gets yards/TDs. KC can ride LJ if they need to. I would go with Carr until Hasselback is back and Leftwich has another bad game.

Well play Leftwich it was jus a bad game .. a bad game against the Texans but everyone has a bad game. I say toss and extra kicker or D out and pick up Carr he said be a good back up to Lefwich until you get Hasslebeck back in 3 weeks.

With KC's running game I wouldn't go for Huard.
Carr seems okay...he's got 9 TDs already plus Andre Johnson is a pretty good receiver. Isn't Houston playing Tennessee this week? Might be a good matchup.

If Carr is available, grab him immediately. He has a fairly favorable matchup this week with Tennessee. If you don't feel comfortable, you can try for Batch or even attempt to trade for Brees or another backup on someone else's team if you're strong at another position and can afford to get rid of a receiver or running back.

i just dumped Hasselbeck and picked up Carr. Carr played well against a good Jacksonville D. I will start him against a pass friendly Tennessee D.

Green is practicing again for KC anyway so stand clear of Huard.
