I'm feeling a bit sick at the moment and would like to know any ways anyone might have of getting rid of nausea that do not involve throwing up, because i really don't like throwing up

Try some ginger tea. If you don't have any available, then just slowly sip a cup of boiled water.

warm ginger ale, warm and club soda but stir it so the carbonation does not mess with your stomach more. If you haven't been able to keep fluids down, go to the er. You will most likely need an IV to retain your fluid intake and electrolytes. Anyway, in your case, slowly sip the ginger ale or club soda. See how you can handle it, even though club soda is nasty. If you can handle that, then go up to crackers with no salt and plain dry toast. Good luck and I hope that works. And, if you are going to be visiting the er, they'll give you Compazine for the nausea and vomiting. Feel better soon!

Sorry, you're the one that's sick and only you know what your body can handle right now. You might need to lie down (try your right side to help the ick leave your stomach), you might need to eat something or you might need Pepto Bismol. Worse comes to worst, go to the toilet. Good luck, I know it really sucks to be sick.

Nibble saltines or dry toast and then sip ginger ale (make sure it actually has ginger in it) or warm, but not flat, coke. The type soda's a matter of preference, I prefer ginger ale but some of my friends swear by coke. Hope I helped.
