As long as the nipples are pierced correctly. If they pierce through the milk duct, it can potentially damage the nipple and make it unable to breast feed, but I have also heard from people that the child only likes that nipple because the milk flows easier through that nipple. Either way, you should remove the jewelry before breast feeding. I suggest only getting one nipple pierced if you are worried about it.

it is possible, but maybe you should go and ask your doctor. there are hundreds of milk ducts in one breast and there is no way to completely know which ones are still fully functioning from the piercing. the baby may get tired from suckling and seem satisfied and full when really there is not enough milk. then you could only tell by sunken in eyes and pale color so don't go to that extreme and be safe. a dr. would be the best to answer this.

It's great idea! The baby can suck on one and hang onto the ring on the other. And perhaps when the baby gets older you could get some pierced teething rings. You are a breastfeeding pioneer!

Yes but the milk will taste rusty and come out through the sides and the front of the nipple

You sure can but you will probably want to remove the piercings to feed.

Please don't do that. Think about it and research it, talk to your doctor. I know you will regret it when you have a baby. PLEASE, PLEASE educate yourself first. Don't do it because so many others are, that is not a valid reason. Good luck to your reaching a smart, mature decision, that you will not regret when you are holding your baby.
