Granted, the chair should have had the soft bottoms (I think we learned our lesson there and will be putting rubber on the bottom) , but how do we fix the scratches?

You can buy a wood stick (choose from a variety of colors) to repair the scratches or, you can use wood oil and see it that helps it "disappear". Good Luck.

Just use polyurathne. Find the finish that you need , matte/gloss/high gloss, and with a small brush touch up the floor. Follow the directions on the can. I prefer the oil base poly but you can use the latex, though the latex may not adhere to an oil finsih. When you buy the poly you should pick up a ;couple of cheap disposable brushes for a buck or less. Its quicker and cheaper to toss the brush than spend another dollar of paint thiner cleaning the brush.

Good luck

I recently had this problem too. At any home improvement store, you can buy pads that are sticky on one side and soft wool or slippery rubber on the other. You just stick them on to the bottom of the chair legs. Good luck...

Go to the hardware store and buy felt pads with sticky stuff on the back. As for the floor, If the scratches aren't to bad,you might be able to just use Wax to fill-in. But check at the hardware store.

I agree with alot of your ideas (they're really good). The idea of having more realism in the game sounds refreshing. I was getting so bored/annoyed of the cartoonish Sims 2, they should really "step up" the game play in the Sims 3 as you have already mentioned in your ideas. You should really send in your ideas to EA! I think alot of Sim fan/players will agree with your ideas. * I really hope that they continue to refine the Sims 3 instead of leaving it the way it is now. <:(

Fine steel wool (dry) and a towel to wipe the dust.
