When you watch the news, one would think that Foley committed the crime of the century. The democrats talk as if what Foley did was a monstrous crime against humanity and a few years ago, when Clinton did an act of similar sexual degeneracy, it was no big deal. It was just a ******* and not real sex. Now that the tables are turned. Foley is Hitlerish. We nned to protect our children from this madman! The same goes for the republicans. Foley is not a problem; its no big deal; no one even knew about it(ie I have to save my ***!!) Why is it that we will attack each other with such hipocrisy!?

Because when you're a Democrat, IT'S DIFFERENT!

Liberals wallow in their moral weakness, so when one of them acts in an inappropriate way they feel no shame. Conservatives on the other hand strive for moral behavior, so when one fails, there are accusations of hypocrisy.

Now, the real truth is, the preceding paragraph is just more Liberal spin. They'll attack Republicans with anything they think will stick, because the only thing Liberals REALLY care about is the re-acquisition of power.

The entire Mark Foley episode is an excellent demonstration of how poorly Liberals understand Conservatives. Because they judge Groups, they assume everyone does, and they therefore assumed they could tar the entire Republican delegation with this minor scandal. True Conservatives of course, evaluate people as individuals, so for us, Mark Foley's failings reflect on him alone. They've also demonstrated how quickly they're willing to throw Gays under the bus for a little political advantage. Just more proof that their only true allegiance is to power. This should serve as a warning to all who would place their trust in the Democratic party.

Clinton's promiscuity was not ignored. it was however legal. Foley's folly was that he commited a deviant crime against children and violated the trust given to him by children's protective organizations. He was the monster under the bed for these children cloaked as a normal caring person...I call that evil.

Ok, you conservatives, you punished Clinton for lying about his personal life...with a consenting adult. You impeached him. He's paid for it...probably deserved it too. But to carry on about how wrong it is to accuse this monster of being evil is just rediculous.
You are a hypocrit for delivering a question such as this.

foley or folly is a great man to represent the GOP. He represents everything they stand for. and its totally wrong of the "liberals" to say anything about him! Get real if you pull your head out of the sand you would be able to see that what folly did is wrong. Clinton was wrong but lewinsky was an adult (though a young adult) stop making excuses for folly! clinton was impeached for supposedly lieing under oath. folly and the whole present administration should be removed and a few other things i wont type here for fear of the salem witch hunts that are begining to take place under this administration. Its not an issue of liberal and conservatives, its an issue of right and wrong!

they have extra equipment now, like FOX information, that enable them to extra constructive coordinate their efforts. it is basic now for the long island on a daily basis information and some early FOX opinion shows to make ridiculous claims, then FOX information comments those claims as if they seem to be a spontaneous public insurrection, and then all the different stations report on the FOX information report, which turns fantasies into realities interior of a unmarried day. American woman: what promises the impresion that republicans stand for extraordinarily own rights? "personal rights" does no longer advise giving wealthy organizations the means to oppress the poor.

For starters, it happened about six years ago, although planksheer has already hit that nail on the head. Another thing is that Bubba's affair was with an of-age woman, whereas, in technical aspect, Foley had a pedophiliac relationship. And, if I must say, he's lucky: Have you seen how many men have been arrested for "just" e-mailing minors on "To Catch a Predator"?

The teens in trusted to get an education about the workings of government, where put in the clutches of this disgusting man, who knew better. But he used his position to take advantage of the teens, as for Clinton at least she was an adult. I'm not saying it was right, but one must admit the big differences.

Not only that, but Clinton LIED! Right to you and me with a pointed finger. Foley lied about nothing and never actually did anything to the pages. And, as he should, left immediately.
Such a difference here!
Of course it's not about morals with the Libs, just pure biased political junk as usual.
