I will be studying abroad in April, but I have a period of 4 months during which I won't be in school. I'd like to make some money during this time, so any suggestions as to which jobs might hire for a short period?

If you live near a casino, cocktail waitresses there can make a lot of money fast. If not, the same holds true for any trendy bar or restaurant. It's hard work, but if you're good at it you can really rake in the tips.
Another idea would be to work as a tutor in a place like Sylvan or any place near you that specializes in helping kids raise test scores. They are always looking for extra help, and the pay is ok for an easy job.
Since the holidays are approaching, malls are probably hiring seasonal help. You could try clothing stores or makeup counters. You would probably get a commission for sales.

If maybe your looking for something to make a few bucks on the side while your looking for a job check this site out. Heres the way of going about doing it.
First, you should create a seperate email account for this, or really any online site you will need to give your email to cause they will spam you with emails. Then go to http://www.*************/index.php?ref=9... and register with that new email. All you have to do is take surveys and answer questions, nothing more, nothing less. You're going to see surveys where you can make anywhere from $10-50 but avoid those. They will end up asking you to buy something or sign up for a trial or something like that and its really not worth it. Stick with the $.50-2.00 surveys. Do 8-12 $1 surveys in an hour...you do the math. Message me if you have any questions
