I like to kick back on the weekends and relax with a six-pack or two. My girlfriend gets annoyed at me, even though I rarely get stumbling-*** drunk (It has happened, but not for awhile.) Why don't women get the concept that guys like to chill and drink beer? I'm not going out and picking up other women, or driving around pissed, so what's the problem?

As long as you spend quality time doing stuff she enjoys too, as well as what you enjoy, there's no problem.

Wooo Hooo.... every womans idea of how to spend the weekend.... sitting home watching our men drink beer and no doubt watch football while we get ignored, pick up the empty bottles, and watch our lives pass before our eyes.
Next week you'll be complaining cause she left you, telling everyone what a great boyfriend you were just cause you didn't chase other women.... and you'll surely be calling her a slag. How typical.
Somehow I don't think beer is the real problem here.

Maybe she wants you to help around the house.. I don't mind beer even though my bf drinks everyday. I do mind it during times when he is sick and taking medication and still drinks beer coz the medicine would have no effect at all.. Still I don't get pissed coz I love him too much..

I think that the problem is that the tastes for drinks are diffrent, gals will go out and get fruity drinks but beer is a guy thing. maybe its mental, that beer is watching a game and putting your hand in your pants.

Funny that you say this... I have the same prob with my bf. I'm not an alcoholic, but I like my beer, and I only drink every other weekend, but he gets mad and says all I ever wanna do is drink beer, but I drink til I'm drunk, but I'm a funny drunk, not a mean one, so I dunno

if this is how it is when she's just a girlfriend, do not marry her. the nagging will pretty near bring you to suicide once she feels she has ownership papers. she is being unreasonable and things will not get any better for you until you live the life that she has laid out for you.
