Totally normal. People adjust to social situations around them by slightly changing the way they speak and behave. These are rules of society that we have learned from a very young age.
We learn who to be speak to and behave with respect towards (people in positions of power over us, parents, teachers, boy/girlfriends) and who we can be less polite/respectful with (friends, siblings). We also learn times and places for our behaviour (quiet in church, rowdy on the playground). Someone who gets wildly drunk on weekends doesn't behave like this at work (hopefully!!).

it quite is large. the undeniable fact which you are trying this with out even controlling it makes it a valid area of who you're. it is the way you're making relationships and shield them. it is a few thing it is quite helpful to handle nevertheless. Withholding information is quite large, yet downright changing the way you act for many diverse people would be risky to your destiny. in the event that they do no longer comprehend who you're, and you do no longer comprehend who you're, do you even exist? you may in all risk take a while on my own and examine your very own ideals, hobbies, values, etc and be conscious them on your existence and enhance friendships in keeping with those features. you are able to clarify to those people precisely the way you're, and show basically real issues. they could take it or depart it. And the only ones that remember are people who will stick by no remember what you're saying or do around them!

I hang out with a wide variety of people. There are certain things I can say or do around a certain group that I can't do around another. I adjust to the people I'm around so I don't offend anyone..Its completely normal if thats the case.

This question skates a fine line, because people can change in different settings or when they're with different people but if they totally switch up on you then you should say something to them.

I have noticed that Asian women tend to speak more softly and with higher-pitched voices when they talk to customers in their businesses, as opposed to when they talk to each other.
Also that some native American women do the same thing when they speak in their own language.
I yell at my daughter sometimes, but only if I am impatient or angry at her.

Yes...I talk to the principal at my school differently than I do to the students. I talk to my mom differently than I do to my brother. When I think about it, I think its normal.
Its different when you put up one front to one group of people you want to impress and another fact to another group. If you try to impress everyone, I think you don't impress anyone. I think the bottom line is you have to know yourself and why you present yourself the way that you do.

definitely -- I have seen some real chameleons. the ones that you have to watch out for the ones that are nice to your face and then nasty behind your back. yeah, their voice changes, everything, just like Jekyll and Hyde. I'm not that devious but I when I am around people I don't know my voice and demeanor changes...

yes. most people tend to change the way they talk and act depending on the people around them. It's an instinctive act to bond.

For most I suppose it is, and looking at the question, I suppose I do it to. Especially when I want something from a man, my voice tends to soften and go up, LOL, silly I know, but it seems to work.

Yes, it's very normal! Think about it: Suppose you went to a party last weekend, and got drunk. Are you going to tell your friends about it the same way you'll tell your parents?
