I worked as a waitress/bartender for years and hands down best shoe...Sketchers! They are so comfy and there are so many styles you can get whatever you need. You may also want to invest in some polish to keep them looking nice, appearances are everything and you are working for tips girl!

I always remeber that as Nurses doing that. I thought waitresses wore black or dark shoes, but I could be mistaken. I don't ever recall seeing a waitress in white shoes or a white uniform because if the end up getting food on the uniform it is more noticeable

I've never worked as a waitress so I wouldn't know, but I think they have special catalogs and websites for those kinds of shoes. I saw some catalogs laying on a table at a restaurant advertisting a company that sold shoes for waitresses. They had some kind of special grip too, so you won't slip and fall on a wet or greasy floor.

Try a cute flat, or a kitten heel. Just go to a shoe store, like nine west, or go to nordie nordstrom and try on some cute yet comfortable shoes, the service is great, so they could help you with that. Here are some cute white flats:

Select the white. Hope I helped!

I agree with Chloe, Dansko is the best. The come in several colors and can be worn all day without fatigue. They can be expensive but try ebay, thats where I got my first pair. Or try www.danskooutlet.com. They sell factory seconds at decent prices. They are worth the cost.

Cuteness aside there are Crocs and Birkenstocks have some comfortable working shoes. I like Sperry Top Siders, if you do the preppy thing.

Tennis shoes or the ones that nurses wear, they're on their feet all the time.
