1. CT is not as liberal as people think. I know because I live here. There are more independents than Democrats. People cannot stand Lamont because he is so far left.
2. Lieberman is very popular.
3. Many Republicans are voting for him just to stick it to the Democrats.
By the way, Lieberman is very liberal. According to the American Conservative Union (http:www.acu.org), Lieberman has a similar rating to Clinton, Schumer, and the rest of the liberals in the senate. He was thrown overboard simply because he supports the war efforts in Iraq.

Since Lieberman is a liberal too I'm not sure what this is supposed to mean. The only conservative in the race is polling at about 5-8%... perhaps THIS is a sign....
This LIBERAL is hoping that Lieberman wins... Lamont is a rich piece of trash that is just trying to take advantage of Lieberman's unpopular support of the Iraq war. I can look past this one mistake and see all the good things Lieberman has done. He's a good man, and has very little in common with your foolish conservatives that seem to like him so much (kind of like the foolish liberals that thought John McCain was some a moderate).
Go get 'em Joe!

Yah its a sign that CT republicans are voting for Lieberman.
If Lieberman wins, fine, thats obviously what the majority of people wanted, or it could just mean that his nasty ads are working.

Some stats:
80% of the time, an incumbent Senator wins.
89% of the time, the candidate who raises the most money, especially from local individual donors, wins the Senate race. This is like "early voting with dollars."
Well, you have an incumbent who has a clear lead in local individual contributions as well as overall spending. Guess who is winning?

Yes, its a sign that America is full of stupid voters who choose name recognition above all else. How do you think Arnold got elected governor of California?
