i'm working on a problem. it's a square and u have to find the value of x, the sides r x+3 and x+3

4x + 12=28
4x=16
x=4

If the shape is a square then there are four equal sides. Divide 28 units by 4 sides - each of your sides are 7 units (28/4=7).
If each side is 7, then x+3 = 7, so your answer is 4 because 4+3 = 7.
Answer =4

Perimeter = 28
Side = x+3
4(x+3) = 28
4x + 12 = 28
4x = 16
x = 16/4 = 4

28 = 4(x + 3)
7 = x + 3
