is there anyway to clean the heating vents / duct myself or would i need to hire someone and pay out the a=s

You can vaccum out underneather the vents as far as the vaccum will reach. However: you would need to hire someone to clean farther down and include the furnace while you're at it. I had a bid on it for my home and it wasn't very pretty.

My best answer for you is you should hire a professional to do the job. It take a special ventilated vacuum to clean ducting. If you try to clean it yourself, you could get tons of bad bacteria on your body and you can get sick. Please dont try to clean it yourself, very dangerous

Just hire someone to do it. It cost us $68 to do the whole house. Shop around to make sure your getting the best deal.

In the floor or where take the covers off vac.them out might have to get an extra peice if flex to reach but you can if not to bad
