I don't really listen to christamas music but my mom started preparing hers after the end of september and now she blasts it every night. But she, but she is by no means ordinary, so do not take this as a sign for what u should do.
I think u should start after thanksgiving.

The day after Thanksgiving! Wait until midnight or one o'clock, then wake up the whole house to blasting Christmas music! This is very fun, and, surprisingly, it is fun for everyone who wakes up, too!

About one week before Christmas!
Give me a break, already!
FIRST, we have Labor Day, THEN, Halloween, THEN Thanksgiving, THEN Christmas, THEN New Year's!
There are (or SHOULD BE) some REGULAR days, in-between.
Give it a break! Don't rush it!
Don't rush it!
Each day is NOT a Holiday. That is why Holidays are SPECIAL.
