Does anyone know how I can get coins from other countries, besides actually going? I want modern coins, used as currency. Thanks for answering!

uh.. a coin shop? Most of them have a bucket of "junk" coins like youre talking about for as little as 10 coins for a dollar.

As one person said, if you have a coin dealer near by, he may have a junk box as it is called and there will be world coins there real cheap.Bob Reis' company ,Anything Anywhere, PO Box 26303,Raleigh, NC 27611 or www.anythinganywhere.com has 99 different world coins including an ancient for $15.00. He is one of the good guys. Also there is Bill's Coins, PO Box 868, Carpinteria, CA 93014 He has 1# for $12.00 and $3.50 shipping or 5#'s for $32.00 and $3.50 shipping. Theses are just a couple, for more go to a coin dealer who carries the Coin newspaper Numismatic News and look under world coins in the ads area. You will get a mixture of new and some that are not used any longer. It is not profitable to carry all new world coins.
