If he was cheating why wasn't he ejected from the game. Pine tar isn't easy to remove. It would of been noticed by the ump sooner or later. If it was dirt so what they all rub dirt on the ball. I don't remember the pitchers name. But in 1988 one of the Dodger pitchers was ejected from a playoff game agaisnt the Mets. He had pine tar in his glove. There has been a lot of well known pitchers who doctor the ball one way or another. The smart ones don't get caught. Go Kenny kick butt and I am a Yankee fan LOL

of course not. never believe those kind of things. Kenny Rogers is a great pitcher. that's just an excuse why the cards suck.

You mean Kenny Rogers? No, I don't think he was cheating, they have LOADS of cameras on them guys. It's all chance and skill.

if he cheated it was only the first inning. alot of pitchers put tare on places to get an advantage.
ESPN did a story about it and show that just about every pitcher has in one from or another done the same. IE. finger, cap, palm,

now if he did the other 8 innings was all his talent. NOT ANYTHING ELSE!!!

it was cheating but the players don't care and it is widly accepted throughout the league that a pitcher uses pine tar in cold weather to get some grip on the ball
