ok, i'm working on a math problem and it shows a triangle with three sides, sides=7, x, x+2, how do u solve it?
Show work and answer.

If the perimeter is 29, then your work would look like this:
7+x+x+2=29
9+2x=29
2x=20
x=10

Recheck it by filling in 10 for x (7, 10, 12) and you're good.

You know the length of all three sides and their sum. So, just add 'em up:

7 + x + (x+2) = 29
collect terms, solve for x...

simple.. look at ur problem... 1/2 *b*h

*= to multiply

you should no what ur base and height are...
