I have a 30 GB iPod with a color display purchased in September '05. After using it this afternoon, it will not turn off. Normally I can press and hold the PLAY button or pause & lock the iPod and it would turn off on its own after a few minutes. I've tried resetting all of the settings -- out of desperation -- because I don't know what else to do.

Can anyone help?

Press and carry the play/pause button in 5 seconds and it could be off now. Or reset your iPod by potential of connecting it on your computing gadget, set the carry swith to hold, and turn it off returned and press and carry the middle and Menu button for 6 seconds till the Apple emblem looks. Now, if it quite is not yet off, deliver your iPod on your iTunes to benefit some "technical powers", disconnect it and it could turn off now. nevertheless no longer working? pass to the closest Apple middle or the keep the place you acquire your iPod.
