i own a 96 cutlass supreme and i wanna put some 22 inch rims on in how would i do ot of ots a fwd car i was told some coilovers but on universalcarlifts.com they offer a fwd lift kit

your gonna spend more on the rims than the car is worth?... that's dumb... remember that show where they were showing moments in black history, "the first black man to spend more on rims than the cars worth". makes me assume you are also black. you can buy coil spring spacers that go under the coil spring and add about an inch of clearance but when you do that to a car the alignment is off and your tires will wear very quickly and unevenly. and considering the price of tires for 22's i would sell the car for a bigger one that can fit the 22's stock

$1000 car... $5000 in rims and tires... a horrible ride, no handling capabilities, and we won't even talk about about snow.

I mean, I'm just a nerdy white guy, but wouldn't most people want a better car with "normal" tires? We put lift kits into vehicles, but in theory they are supposed to improve performance, like get through deeper swamps, or go faster in a drag race.

(wonder if the poster missed the part where the rims spin)
