If you want to look how the greeks actually view venus then i would go light on the make-up. Use a light blush, just enough to give your cheeks a subtle pink glow. Then on top if you can find a light shimmer to kind do the whole face and the top of the shoulders with. Depending on your eye color and skin tone I would use as shade of gold. The color you would have to decide for yourself. Usually darker golds go for dark skinned people. Just keep it simple. Venus had a natural beauty (well 'had' as in textbooks and old paintings) so keep it natural. Have your hair down, curly if you can. Make them thick curls kinda wavy curls. If you keep it natural then you will look great!

Get some gold eyeshadow and some face bronzer. Use a little eyeshadow on your eyes with some eyeliner and mascara, and apply a very small amount of gold eyeshadow just under your eyebrow along the brow bone. Apply a small amount of bronzer to your cheekbones and then add a tiny bit of the gold eyeshadow to the tops of your cheekbones, and put lip gloss on. You'll definitely get that glowing godess look! And for your hair I would suggest either doing a couple of french braids and pinning them around your head, or curl your hair and wear it up with some curls hanging down, with a thin gold headband, or some gold twine wrapped around your head. Good luck I'm sure you'll look great : )

Your make-up should look very clean but glam. Try fair skin with gold or bronze highlights (not in your hair, I mean as shadow and blush that sort of thing.) Also try a dark brown liquid liner on your top lid to create a winged look. Good Luck!

Use alot of mascara, eye liner, bronzer (if you have any) coz alot of greek people have slightly tanned skin, and if you have long hair, see if you can get it curled, you rarely see pics of greek gods or goddess with straight hair.
