Of all the stars, I choose the Sun.
It's always been good to us, warming the Earth--even when we can't see it keeps us warm and sometimes sets the moon aglow to remind us of it's beauty.
I choose the Sun.
For selfish reasons. It puts the blonde streaks in my hair and that little kiss of color across my cheeks in the summer. It sets my backyard a bloom and color and brings my neighbors out to play in its light.
Sure too much exposure can burn us. Sure afternoon naps are rough, trying to hide from that light.
But I choose the Sun because without it, this Earth would not sustain our lives. What a gift the Sun is.

I will choose Orion the Hunter....he is my favorite constellation and is a constant in my sleepless nights...
