Answer 1 used the acceleration-from-velocity formula in a problem calling for the acceleration-from-distance formula.
s (distance) = 0.5*a*t^2, so a = 2*s/t^2 = 80/9. f=ma; you can do the math for that.

F=ma

a=40.0/3.0

F= 710 * 40/3
= 9466.666..
=9470 N (3 sf)
