Well, depends on what neighborhood you were in. If you were in a neighborhood that is mostly Christian, you would be hailed by Democrats as not being afraid to express your opinion. If you were in a Muslim neighborhood you would have do deal with the fatwa that was put on your head. Don't worry. You can always move, right? If it were a political billboard that was Democrat you would have to listen to them wail and complain that everybody is now feeling intimidated and therefore cannot possibly express their opinion ever. If it were a Republican billboard they would give you a parade and make you mayor for a day. Hopefully for your sake it won't be New Orleans. Good Luck with that.

I can't imagine why you would want to!! Of course you could get caught...you just wrote about it here where anyone can see!! People who are destructive have issues. Perhaps if you have all that negative energy, you should direct it towards doing something good for the community!! Clean up around that billboard, where apathetic people may have thrown their trash! Then, you can always recycle the cans and bottles and make a few dollars!! Now wouldn't that make you feel better than just ruining something? I hope you get your animosity under control. Just know that at least one person (me) will have you in their prayers tonite!! Good luck!!

Probably would be fined or have to do community service, at the most if this is your first offense. It does go on your criminal record though (unless you have a good attorney to get it taken off), and that follows you for life.

But, really, don't do it. I understand the urge. I feel much the same way sometimes. But if you do it, you just make your point of view look bad -- immature, even. And you just hurt your cause.

Well i see that the looser is out to deface public property assuming to say if you get caught it would be destruction of public property or vandalizing or the like whatever the law read at the time!

vandalism is not the answer for stating what you may feel is right its against the law, if you want a politicial debate this is not how to start one, defacing religious property"is a bad crime you would be treated with the full extent of law descrating a place of worship an it has severe penality.

In the case of the religious billboard, depending on what state you are in that could be construed as a "hate crime" and subject you to lengthy prison time.

It's called vandalism, it is against the law, and you will get arrested. Good luck on your criminal career. May I also add that this seems like an extremely immature thing to do. You may what to explore other options to get your point across.

If you did get caught, which is possible, you could get into major legal trouble. charges, trial, maybe even some prison, but most likley, community service, and some other legal crap. why would you do something like that? a little weird.

Regardless of whether you get caught or not, vandalism is wrong and against the law.

You'd get charged with vandalism, but no one will waste money looking for you, that would be a waste of tax payers money
