I like the Thing when things get rough because he can take whatever is thrown at him.

Superman, of course.
However, he lost my respect when he didn't come and save the World Trade Center. I was hoping against hope that he'd show up and prevent that second plane from hitting.

superman!! he's the strongest and fastest among the superheroes,
he is the man of steal and faster than the speeding bullet... and he can breath outside the earth...

probably superman but the original hulk whom got stronger as he got angrier would give him a run . but superman has to many powers.
