I can hardly wait to click onto your name and see what other stuff you have made up because, no, Brokeback Mountain was NOT based on a true story.
As for real cowboys walking gingerly, arthritic folks (who have been thrown from horses, dragged by cattle and had to sleep on the hard ground or who are just arthritic) all walk gingerly. I think the movie cowboys did it because they had a gerbil up their @ss or just couldn't get used to wearing boots.

yeaaah right, every cowboy was gay now, is what you're saying. i very much doubt it. they walk "gingerly" if you want to put it that way, because they RIDE ON A HORSE all day. i'm guessing that some are gay and some are not, just like everyone.
also did you happen to know that story was written by a woman?

No that happens naturally from riding on a horse all day long Trust me riding a horse hurts like hell when you are not used to sitting on a hard leather saddle from Dawn till Dusk
